Hi, I’m Ashley.
My story is one of faith, surrender, and the beauty of trusting God with the unknown.
Along with my husband, Jeffery, I felt a profound calling in the wake of Haiti’s 2010 earthquake—a tragedy that left hundreds of thousands displaced and thousands of children in institutionalized care. Moved by Jesus’s prompting, we committed our lives to serving the Lord, stepping from ordinary lives into extraordinary work with international impact through Second Chance Global.
As a mom of two toddlers, I thrive amidst a bit of chaos. Spontaneous by nature, I’m known for booking last-minute trips to follow God’s calling wherever it leads. Guided by what I call “reckless faith,” I’m passionate about empowering and activating people to step boldly into their God-given potential.
Second Chance Global’s early work focused on providing immediate relief to children in orphanages. However, our firsthand experiences on the mission field revealed a deeper calling—one centered on fostering self-sufficiency and breaking cycles of generational poverty. These insights inspired me to launch the Purpose Project, an empowerment initiative of Second Chance Global that equips individuals and communities to truly thrive.
As an inspirational speaker, founder, and eternal learner, I embrace life as “in process”: curious, growing, and committed to showing others what’s possible when faith and action collide. Through Second Chance Global, I invite others into restoration, empowerment, and opportunity—one community and one life at a time.
I didn’t rise from my setbacks; I surrendered them, and in doing so, I became aware of the calling on my life and was compelled to make a life-changing impact.
